1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using E0MAP (the “Site”), operated by E0MAP, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

E0MAP is a free, publicly accessible directory of gas stations and fueling locations across the Hawaiian Islands. We provide station locations, fuel type availability, and related information to help users find fuel services. The Site includes interactive maps, search functionality, and station detail pages.

3. Accuracy of Information

Station data is provided “as is” and may not reflect current conditions.

While we strive to keep our directory accurate, we cannot guarantee that all information — including station locations, fuel availability, operating hours, pricing, or services — is current, complete, or error-free. Data is sourced from public records (Hawaii Department of Health UST Database), operator websites, and community contributions.

Always confirm fuel availability, pricing, and station hours directly with the station before making travel decisions, especially for remote locations or specialty fuels (non-ethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen, etc.).

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, E0MAP and E0MAP shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Use of or inability to use the Site
• Inaccurate or outdated station data
• Reliance on fuel availability or pricing information
• Travel decisions made based on information from the Site
• Temporary unavailability of the Site or any of its features
• Any damages to your vehicle or property resulting from fuel obtained at a listed station

The Site is an informational directory, not a fueling service. We do not sell fuel, operate stations, or set prices.

5. No Affiliation

E0MAP is an independent directory and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fuel company, gas station brand, or government agency. Station names, logos, and brand references are used solely for identification and informational purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, and original content are owned by E0MAP. Station data sourced from public databases remains in the public domain. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site's content or database without written permission.

7. API Usage

We provide public API endpoints for accessing station data. API usage is subject to reasonable rate limits. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate API access for any user who engages in excessive automated requests, data scraping, or misuse.

8. Third-Party Services

The Site uses third-party services including Mapbox (maps), Supabase (data hosting), and Vercel (web hosting). Your use of the Site is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. User Submissions

If we introduce features for user-submitted station data, corrections, or reviews, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and incorporate your submissions into the directory. You represent that any information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access admin or restricted areas without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's infrastructure
• Submit false or misleading station information
• Use automated tools to scrape data at a rate that degrades service

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Hawaii.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
